Job summary

MetroFibre Networx is seeking a commercially astute telecommunications professional to translate complex customer requirements into viable fibre and connectivity solutions. You will lead the solution lifecycle from qualification through design, feasibility, commercial approval and delivery assurance, coordinating with Sales, Commercial, Product, Network Engineering, Operations and partners.

Qualifications

• Relevant diploma/degree in telecommunications, electronic engineering, computer or network engineering, IT or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification or professional certifications in networking, enterprise architecture, project management or commercial management (preferred).
• Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, MEF Carrier Ethernet or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and qualification for strategic enterprise opportunities, translating customer requirements into fit-for-purpose connectivity.
• Develop end-to-end solutions across fibre access, Ethernet, Internet connectivity, IP VPN, voice and partner services.
• Produce solution architectures, network diagrams, technical specifications, BOMs and implementation requirements.
• Validate capital/operating costs, installation charges, partner costs, pricing, margins, payback and contract assumptions.
• Lead solution workshops, customer presentations, technical clarifications and stakeholder engagements.
• Coordinate and quality-assure RFI, RFP, tender, proposal and quotation responses.
• Ensure proposed solutions comply with approved commercial policies and delegated authority.
• Oversee delivery from approved solution through survey, build, testing, activation and acceptance.
