Placements24 seeks a detail-oriented Logistics and Dispatch Officer for its Vereeniging operation in Gauteng. You will manage outbound dispatch, coordinate with transport providers, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining accurate records in the ERP system.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain coordination.
• Strong knowledge of transportation management, warehousing, and inventory control.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder liaison abilities.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with the Vereeniging area advantageous.
• Logistics or related qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan outbound logistics and deliveries to ensure timely dispatch of goods.
• Coordinate with fleet managers and transport providers for suitable vehicles and routes.
• Track shipments in real-time and update relevant teams and clients.
• Manage inbound logistics: supplier deliveries and receiving coordination.
• Prepare and verify shipping docs: waybills, invoices, customs declarations.
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP system.
• Monitor outbound inventory and liaise with warehouse teams.
• Resolve logistical delays with cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.
• Generate reports on dispatch efficiency and logistics costs.
