Job summary

Our client, Professional Recruitment Network, seeks a proactive Credit Controller to join their finance team in Soweto. This role focuses on managing a high-volume debtor book, proactive collections, resolving queries, and ensuring adherence to credit policies. Strong SAP/OMNI and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric or senior certificate with accounting/math
• Degree/ND in Credit Management or Accounting can be advantageous
• 2–5 years in credit control or accounts receivable
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong SAP exposure
• Proficient in Excel
• Knowledge of SA credit legislation
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to balance collections with customer relations

Responsibilities

• Manage a full customer portfolio for collections
• Contact customers to collect outstanding payments
• Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers
• Enforce the company credit policies and procedures
• Prepare age analysis reports with follow-up actions
• Reconcile customer accounts and payments
• Liaise with legal or external agencies on debt recovery
• Maintain debtor records in SAP/OMNI
