Job summary

Flash Components in Gauteng seeks an experienced Credit Controller to monitor credit risk, collect debts, and manage payments. You will work with SAP, Accpac and MS Excel to reconcile accounts and support policy compliance. A strong analytical mindset and detail orientation are essential for success.

The role requires 5+ years in credit control, in a high-volume environment, with a proven track record in collections. A valid driver’s license and relevant qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or National Diploma in Credit Management / Accounting, or Credit Management Certificate (Level 4 or 5).
• 5+ years credit control & credit risk management experience.
• Proven track record in collecting outstanding debt successfully.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform credit checks and onboard new customer accounts.
• Collect outstanding debts within KPI targets.
• Allocate and reconcile customer payments.
• Manage overdue accounts, payment plans and demand letters.
• Escalate bad debts and present high-risk accounts to the Risk Committee.
• Prepare age analysis reports with commentary.
• Process debit orders, refunds and adjustment journals.
• Maintain accurate customer master data.
• Support audits and ensure policy compliance.
• Drive continuous improvements in credit processes.
