Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Commercial Contracts Manager to join its legal department in George. The role combines remote work flexibility with essential in-office collaboration, focusing on end-to-end contract lifecycle management and risk mitigation.

You will draft, review, negotiate, and manage a diverse portfolio of agreements, and collaborate with sales, procurement, and finance to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent with understanding of contract law.
• Minimum of 5 years in contract management or commercial legal roles.
• Proficient in contract management software and standard office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial agreements, including service, supply, and partnership contracts.
• Develop and implement standardized contract templates and clauses to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, including sales, procurement, and finance teams, to understand contract requirements and provide legal guidance.
• Monitor contract performance and manage renewals, amendments, and terminations proactively.
• Maintain a centralized contract database, ensuring all agreements are accurately recorded and accessible.
