Qualifications

• A law degree (LLB) or a relevant business degree with extensive legal exposure.
• Minimum 10 years of contract management, legal, or related experience.
• Proven expertise in negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts.
• Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and procurement processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with contract management software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the contract management process from drafting and negotiation to execution and close-out.
• Develop and implement standardized contract templates and clauses.
• Oversee the review of bids, proposals, and tender documents for contractual compliance.
• Manage contract risks, including identifying potential issues and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Train and mentor junior contract managers and relevant business personnel.
• Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws and company policies in Polokwane.
