Placements24 is seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager for its client in Klerksdorp. The role oversees the full contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and ongoing administration, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk management.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in a legal/commercial contracts role, strong contract law knowledge, and excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar legal/commercial role.
• Strong understanding of contract law and contract management best practices.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Experience with contract management software and MS Office tools.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts independently.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts (service, supply, NDAs).
• Manage contract lifecycle, storage, tracking, renewal/termination.
• Provide guidance on interpretation and contractual obligations/risks.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement and other departments to align contracts with business goals.
• Maintain a central repository of all contracts and documentation.
• Monitor compliance with contractual terms by all parties.
