Job summary

Cloudbox, a specialist MSP, is hiring a Commercial Account Manager in Cape Town to own a portfolio of high-profile financial services clients. You will manage renewals, protect and grow revenue, and ensure commercial terms are accurate while coordinating with TAMs and SDMs.

You'll work UK-aligned hours (10:00–19:00 SAST) and represent Cloudbox to CFOs and COOs, leading QBRs, proposals, and billing processes with a focus on profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial account management or revenue-owned roles.
• Strong commercial acumen: renewals, upsell, contract management, and profitability analysis.
• Able to discuss networking, Microsoft 365 and Azure with IT stakeholders.
• Experience with billing, invoicing cycles, and reconciliations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised with ability to manage multiple renewal cycles and QBRs.

Responsibilities

• Own primary commercial accountability for a portfolio of clients.
• Manage renewal processes and ensure contracts are current.
• Flag scope-creep and translate signals into commercial actions.
• Ensure client data in AutoTask is accurate.
• Check invoices and follow up on billing queries.
• Perform monthly service reconciliation (vendor to AutoTask).
• Analyze profitability by product, solution, and support line.
• Identify upsell opportunities and involve TAM for context.
• Prepare PandaDoc proposals for non-standard opportunities.
• Lead and own QBRs, scheduling and deck reviews.
• Oversee follow-ups after QBRs with TAM, SDM, and client.
• For micro clients, lead service and commercial sections of QBR.
