The role covers budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow management, and funding structures, with collaboration across management and lenders to support project funding and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• CA(SA) or similar qualification preferred/advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior financial management role, ideally in property development, manufacturing, or retail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Provide financial analysis and insights for strategic planning, especially for property development projects.
• Monitor financial metrics and performance indicators to ensure financial health.
• Develop and manage the annual budget with department heads.
• Provide updates on performance vs budget/forecast and propose corrective actions.
• Oversee cash flow management for liquidity and project funding.
• Manage receivables/payables and banking relationships, including funding structures.
