Job summary

PBT Group is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a collaborative delivery team in Johannesburg. You will work with business stakeholders, product owners, developers and QA to translate business needs into clear requirements and drive solutions through the full lifecycle.

Responsibilities include elicitation, process analysis, BRD/FRD creation, UAT support, and ensuring traceability, with exposure to Jira/Confluence and Agile environments. Bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience eliciting and analysing requirements, stakeholder management, and process improvement.
• Proven ability to produce BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and requirement validation sessions.
• Translate requirements into BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Create process maps, RTMs, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, QA and stakeholders.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and change management.
• Assist with UAT including test scenario reviews and sign-off.
• Ensure traceability of requirements to delivered solutions.
• Communicate progress, risks, and changes to stakeholders.
