Job summary

Old Mutual Life Assurance Company (SA) Ltd (PFA) is seeking a leader to guide a small to medium team of financial product advisors. You will develop relationships with prospective and existing clients, stimulate demand for products, and oversee service levels to ensure client satisfaction.

You will identify opportunities, present propositions, and collaborate with senior colleagues on concessions while maintaining standard terms.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing and developing advisor relationships within financial products and services.
• Ability to translate strategy into local plans and motivate a team to achieve business goals.
• Strong customer-facing skills with a track record in handling complex accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a small to medium team of advisors.
• Develop and implement a customer relationship plan for existing accounts.
• Identify and build relationships with decision-makers and influencers in client organizations.
• Present and tailor customer propositions with standard commercial terms.
• Identify potential customers through referrals, events and networks.
• Monitor and manage team performance and objectives using formal processes.
• Provide operational support and supervise transactional activities.
• Foster internal communications and collaboration to meet customer needs.
• Deliver support for key accounts and handle complex inquiries with senior colleagues.
• Develop a customer contact plan for launches and campaigns; act as first point of contact for queries and complaints.
• Track budgets and report variances; coach team members to build capabilities.
• Build organizational capability by coaching staff.
