Job summary

Pick n Pay Retailers is seeking a store operations candidate to support multiple departments and ensure high standards of service. The role involves assisting customers, managing stock, and contributing to promotions within a large supermarket network.

The ideal candidate has a matric and 2–3 years of retail experience (or 1–3 years in a departmental manager role). Willingness to transfer between stores and consent to background checks are required, with a valid SA ID and driver's licence

Qualifications

Matriculated is required.
2-3 years retail experience advantageous.
1-3 years departmental manager experience advantageous.
Willingness to be transferred between stores.
Consent to full credit and criminal check.
Must have a valid South African ID.
Driver's Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

Advise customers on products and services, and respond to requests.
Plan and implement sales promotions.
Monitor budgets and take required action.
Analyse department profitability and take necessary actions.
Ensure correct pricing and labels; keep stock rotated.
Maintain hygiene, housekeeping and safety standards; follow security procedures.
