Job summary

Ann Swann Personnel seeks a Stores Assistant to support receiving, inspecting and recording incoming goods at our Jet Park site in Johannesburg. You will verify deliveries, assist with packing and dispatch, and help keep stock records accurate.

The role requires a relevant degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, basic Excel skills, and strong communication. You will work independently and as part of a team, adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a tidy stores area.

Qualifications

• A completed degree in supply chain or logistics.
• Basic computer literacy including Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, checking and recording incoming goods and deliveries.
• Verify goods received against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Assist with picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Support daily stock control and inventory management activities.
• Assist with stock counts and identifying stock discrepancies.
• Ensure goods are correctly labelled, stored and organised.
• Maintain accurate records of goods received and dispatched.
• Assist with general stores administration and documentation.
• Ensure the stores area remains clean, organised and compliant with safety procedures.
• Provide general operational support to the stores team.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Must be able to reliably commute to Jet Park.
