Job summary

Level Up - Your Talent Partner client is seeking an experienced Storeman to ensure accurate receipt, recording, storage and issuing of goods. The role emphasises stock control, documentation and traceability with compliance to rebate, customs, safety and internal controls.

You will handle goods receipt, inspections, ERP data entry, and contribute to stock takes, ensuring a secure, orderly stores environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
• Solid experience in goods receiving and stock control is expected.
• Experience working with ERP systems and accurate documentation is essential.
• Ability to maintain records in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods against delivery documentation and specifications.
• Coordinate and manage daily dispatch of finished goods to customers and other destinations.
• Capture all goods received and dispatched accurately in the ERP system.

Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Storeman to ensure the accurate, compliant and timely receipt, recording, storage and issuing of goods. The role requires strong attention to stock control, documentation and traceability, with responsibility for maintaining compliance with rebate, customs, safety and internal control requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods against delivery documentation and specifications.
• Coordinate and manage the daily dispatch of finished goods to customers and other destinations.
• Capture all goods received and dispatched accurately in the ERP system.
• Assist with stock takes and cycle counts, and report any stock variances.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, secure and compliant stores environment.
• Operate forklifts and crane equipment safely in accordance with licensing and safety requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid Forklift Licence.
• Valid Crane Licence.
• Valid Code B Driver's Licence.
• 2 to 3 years' experience in a stores, warehouse or inventory environment.
• Solid experience in goods receiving and stock control.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Understanding of accurate documentation and stock traceability requirements.
• Ability to maintain accurate records in a warehouse environment.
