Job summary

Stores Controller

R 20 000 - R 30 000 CTC Per Month

Our client, a well-established company in the services industry, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Stores Controller to take responsibility for the effective management, control and coordination of stores and warehouse activities.

Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics
• Bachelor's degree in Purchasing and Supply Management, Logistics or a related field
• Qualification in Stores, Material Handling or Material Control will be advantageous
• 3 Years' experience in a progressive stores or warehouse environment
• Valid Code 08 driver's license
• Forklift operating competency will be advantageous
• Sound knowledge of stores procedures and processes
• Basic understanding of quality and process control
• Computer literacy and experience with stock/inventory systems
• Experience with SAP will be advantageous
• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping and receiving principles
• Good understanding of safe procedures when handling heavy objects, tools, materials and equipment
