Astral Foods Ltd invites applications for 2 storeman positions in the Engineering Store Department. The roles focus on stock reconciliation, daily cycle counts, stock-takes, and tracking aging or expiring stock within South Africa's leading poultry producer.

The successful candidates will assist the store controller with daily admin tasks, capture issue notes into ERP LN, and ensure stock handling aligns with Astral's KPI-driven procedures and 20 Keys HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy including ERP systems experience is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Support the store controller with daily store administration tasks.
• Enter issue notes into ERP LN to ensure accurate stock transactions.
• Maintain housekeeping and comply with 20 Keys Level 4 standards in stores.
• Ensure stock/non-stock items are received and tracked per procedures and KPIs.
• Conduct weekly and monthly stock takes and report variances.
• Manage issuing of stock to internal customers in line with procedures.

Festive, one of South Africa's leading integrated poultry producers within the Astral Group, is looking for 2x storeman in the Engineering Store Department commercial division. The role will be stock reconciliation, conducting daily cycle counts, stock-takes, and tracking aging or expiring stock.

The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For

• Assisting the store controller with daily store admin tasks.
• Daily capturing of issue notes into ERP LN system to ensure reliable, accurate stock transactions take place as per Astral procedures.
• Ensure proper housekeeping is maintained and is done in line with our 20 Keys - Level 4 accredited standards in stores.
• Ensuring that all stock/non stock items received is done in-line with stores KPI'S and Astral procedures.
• Ensure that weekly and monthly stock takes are done timeously and accurately as per Astral procedures.
• Ensure that all issuing of stock to internal customers are done correctly as per stores KPI'S and Astral procedures.
• Maintaining 20 Keys/ HACCP / Risk Control.

The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements

• Grade 12
• At least 3 years' experience in stores environment.
• Computer literate.
• Fluent in English and have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management.
• Must be willing to work shifts.
