Job summary

Telkom SA is seeking a reliable Storeman to manage the stores function at branch level in Pretoria. The role requires SAP Warehousing experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to supervise staff.

The successful candidate must reside within 25km of Pretoria and have 2–3 years’ Storeman experience, with proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate store staff activities.
• Monitor stock in transit and prevent unauthorised movements.
• Weekly review of SAP-generated stock orders and adjustments.
• Source stock from head office/other branches as required.
• Resolve client stock queries and reconcile discrepancies.
• Conduct and post physical stock counts, report variances.
• Propose safety stock levels to minimise stockouts.

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Storeman to take full responsibility for the stores function at branch level. This role requires a disciplined individual with proven SAP Warehousing experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to supervise and coordinate staff effectively. Candidates must reside within 25km of Pretoria to ensure commuting feasibility

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate store staff activities

• Monitor stock in transit and prevent unauthorised movements

• Weekly review of SAP‑generated stock orders and adjustments

• Source stock from head office/other branches as required

• Resolve client stock queries and reconcile discrepancies

• Conduct and post physical stock counts, report variances

• Propose safety stock levels to minimise stockouts

Systems & Competencies:

• SAP transactions essential: MB5T, MB51 (301 movements), ME57, ME21N, VL108, VL02N, MMBE, MI01, MI04, MI07, MB51 (701 & 702 movements), MD04

• MS Office (Excel & Outlook)

• ZOHO CRM (repairs tracking)

• Strong attention to detail, methodical, customer‑centric, team player with ability to work independently
