Job summary

Talent Candey is seeking an experienced Training Manager to drive training delivery across a portfolio of stores. You will plan schedules, facilitate key interventions, coach trainers and ensure new openings are fully ready.

The role demands strong facilitation, coaching, and leadership within a high-volume retail environment to continuously improve store capability and training effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric and a related Diploma or higher.
• Accredited Assessor/Facilitator credentials are advantageous.
• 3–5 years in Training & Development in a fast-paced retail/hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical, classroom and on-the-job training across stores.
• Plan and coordinate training schedules and interventions.
• Lead and coach trainers; manage trainer performance and development.
• Identify and close capability gaps; monitor training completion and compliance.
• Support new store openings, revamps, and operational readiness.
• Provide post-opening coaching and ensure training quality and consistency.
