Job summary

Shoprite Group of Companies in South Africa seeks a Store Systems Implementation Manager (Portuguese Speaking) to coordinate store tech deployments across retail operations. You will manage readiness, configuration, training and post-go-live support to ensure smooth adoption and operational continuity.

The role requires 5+ years in technology systems implementation and strong leadership for cross-functional teams, with solid knowledge of governance, risk and change management.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Information Systems, IT, Business Management or Project Management (essential).
• 5+ years' experience in technology systems implementation, support, service delivery or systems management (essential).
• 3-5 years' experience managing technology projects, enhancements, rollouts or system changes with leadership responsibility (essential).
• Experience coordinating user readiness, training, adoption support, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders (essential).
• Knowledge of IT governance, risk controls, change management and incident management (essential).

Responsibilities

• Monitor system requests, incidents and escalations to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and coordination to team members and stakeholders.
• Monitor delivery quality, coach and share knowledge to strengthen system capability.
• Coordinate priorities, remove blockers and escalate issues impacting service delivery or adoption.
• Ensure system delivery, configuration, documentation and support comply with standards and controls.
• Coordinate business readiness, communication and training to enable correct system usage.
• Monitor user adoption and identify capability gaps for improvement.
• Manage implementation, enhancement and rollout of technology systems.
• Coordinate timelines, dependencies, testing and go-live activities.
• Coordinate technology teams, business stakeholders and service providers to meet requirements.
