Job summary

Pick n Pay is seeking a Trade & Operations Coordinator to drive Value-Added-Services and store-operations across our South Africa store network. You will bridge Product, Marketing and Store Operations, overseeing readiness, events, retail media and partner activations to ensure consistent execution and excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Retail Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Operations Management or Supply Chain.
• 4–6 years’ experience in retail operations, merchandising, project coordination or store implementation.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional retail teams.
• Event coordination experience within retail or FMCG is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate store planning activities with the Drawing Office for new stores, refurbishments and layout changes.
• Coordinate the rollout of trade, operational and product initiatives across the store network.
• Coordinate in-store communication and promotional material, ensuring timely delivery of POS and merchandising assets.
• Own the operational coordination of all retail media assets across the store network.
• Coordinate Value-Added Services initiatives and partner activations across stores.
• Coordinate end-to-end events such as Franchise Trade Shows, Food & Wine events and supplier exhibitions.
• Conduct store audits and uphold merchandising and operational standards; drive continuous improvement.
