Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12; Mathematics an advantage.
• 2 years’ experience in a Retail Store Management or Assistant Store Manager role, preferably in a similar retail environment.
• Excellent business English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock and control expenses to meet business targets.
• Achieve and/or exceed the required targets set for the store.
• Use store resources effectively to maintain productivity.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of stock and management of policies and procedures.
• Act as custodian of all company policies and procedures to ensure standards are met.
• Assume accountability for the management and training of all staff.
• Maintain the company culture by treating staff in a respectful and professional manner.
• Ensure all interaction with customers results in above-average customer service.
• Monitor store cleanliness and hygiene to comply with laws and company standards.
