Job summary

Mr Price Group is seeking a Store Manager in Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa. You will lead a team of passionate associates to maximise store sales while maintaining stock loss benchmarks and handling store administration.

You will oversee stock management, policy adherence, staff training, and the delivery of excellent customer service, ensuring operations run smoothly in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12, Mathematics an advantage.
• 2 years’ experience in a Retail Store Management or Assistant Store Manager role preferably in a similar retail environment.
• Excellent business English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of associates to maximise store sales/turnover.
• Maintain stock loss benchmarks and manage store administration.
• Manage stock and control expenses to meet targets.
• Achieve/exceed store targets and optimise resource productivity.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Deliver above-average customer service levels through staff guidance.
• Monitor store cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with laws and standards.
