Job summary

Cashbuild Limited is seeking a Store Manager (Internal Applications Only) for Mutale. You will protect and grow market share in line with company strategy and lead a busy retail store with emphasis on sales, customer service, and asset control.

The role demands strong leadership, HR management, and adherence to OHSA standards, with a focus on achieving budgets and delivering operational excellence in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with 3–5 years related retail management experience
• Well developed business acumen and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain administrative discipline
• Computer literate (basic) and able to use common business tools
• Own transport and valid driver’s licence preferred
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety legislation (OHSA)
• Strong HR management skills and staff relations

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic store plans aligned with divisional and company strategy
• Grow transactions, sales and market share and meet budgets and growth objectives
• Deliver excellent customer service and manage loyalty programmes
• Control stock, shrinkage and store assets; ensure security measures are in place
• Manage OHSA compliance, safety checklists and incident reporting
• Oversee human resources with succession planning, training and employee relations
• Ensure store standards, housekeeping, merchandising policies and ready-for-business readiness
