Job summary

Cashbuild Limited is seeking a Store Manager to protect and grow market share within a store in accordance with the company strategy. The role requires Grade 12 and significant retail management experience, with emphasis on leadership, safety standards, stock control, and customer service.

The successful candidate will manage manpower, budgets, and risk, while driving sales, loyalty programs, and service quality in a dynamic retail environment across Limpopo. Own transport preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with at least 3 years retail management experience or 5 years in a similar role.
• Must have well developed business acumen.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong leadership and administrative skills.
• Own transport and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Own cell phone.
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety (OHSA) compliance.
• Strong HR management skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Management: Develop and manage a strategic plan aligned with divisional objectives.
• Grow and Protect Market Share: Achieve sales budgets and grow transactions and market share.
• Customer Service: Implement and monitor the Customer Service strategy and delivery service.
• Asset Control: Manage shrinkage and protect assets; ensure security measures.
• Stock Management: Oversee stock orders, reception, and obsolescence plans.
• Store Safety (OHSA) Standards: Ensure safety compliance and incident management.
• Expense management: Control expenses to fit the budget.
• Insurance Claims Administration: Handle claims with insurers.
• Leadership: Inspire and develop staff; manage relations and performance.
• Planning: Set priorities, organize activities, and maintain realistic plans.
• Performing under pressure: Maintain performance during challenges.
• Market orientation and Integrity: Stay informed on market trends; act with integrity.
• Accuracy: Maintain precision in all store processes.
