Job summary

Mr Price Group Limited is seeking a Store Manager in South Africa. The role focuses on leading daily store operations, achieving targets, and upholding customer service standards. Responsibilities include stock control, loss prevention, housekeeping, and compliance with policies.

You will analyse sales data, drive in-store promotions, and identify opportunities to enhance sales and brand presence, while developing and coaching the team to meet KPIs and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Grade 12.
• 3 to 5 years' experience in a retail store management capacity.
• Knowledge on sales & service management.
• Budgeting knowledge.
• Business understanding of retail trade, brand, customer & product.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the store to meet store targets, innovation initiatives and customer service standards.
• Stock handling: receive, unpack, merchandise and replenish the sales floor.
• Monitor stock levels and mitigate stock loss to ensure adequate on-hand stock.
• Oversee stockroom maintenance to meet housekeeping standards.
• Authorize write offs, breakages, recalls and returns.
• Analyse sales and profitability reports to inform action plans and monitor store expenditure.
• Review product performance and provide feedback to support centre to enhance sales.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness.
• Ensure and enforce compliance to policies and procedures.
