Job summary

Mr Price Group Mossel Bay is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the store manager in daily operations, drive sales and uphold outstanding customer service standards.

You will lead a team, manage stock levels and stockrooms, and work with management to implement loss prevention and merchandising processes.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• 2 to 3 years' experience in a supervisory/assistant store management capacity.
• Understanding of Sales & Service Management.
• Budgeting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

• Understanding of Brand, Customer & Product.

Responsibilities

• Stock Management: Ensure stock is received, unpacked, merchandised and replenished on the sales floor.
• Sales Growth & Profitability: Analyze sales reports and implement actions to increase sales and manage store expenditure.
• Risk Management: Conduct compliance checks to ensure policies are followed.
• Customer Experience Management: Implement customer experience processes to meet service standards.
• Leadership & Development: Lead, coach and develop the store team and manage performance.
