Job summary

Wellness Warehouse is seeking a Store Leader to manage customer interactions, maintain stock availability, and drive floor visibility. The role requires a strong focus on profitability, waste reduction and team development.

You will lead a sales-driven team, ensure audit benchmarks are achieved, and uphold discipline in store operations while working weekends and extended retail hours.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent,
• Wellness Foundation Training and Wellness Managerial training completed,
• Minimum 3 years Wellness retail experience including management,
• Own transport and ability to work weekends extended hours,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills,

Responsibilities

• Manage customer interactions, complaints and requests professionally.
• Optimize selling space and drive stock replenishment to ensure availability.
• Conduct floor walks and ensure housekeeping disciplines are followed.
• Interpret income statements and drive action plans to improve GP and reduce waste.
• Lead, develop and retain team members; foster performance culture.
• Ensure store disciplines, productivity and audit benchmarks are met.

• Customer Experience
• Be professionalManage customer interactions, complaints and requests
• Optimize selling space and drive replenishment to ensure stock availability
• Conduct floor walks to ensure housekeeping disciplines are adhered to
• Store Profitability o Sales -
  meet or exceed targets GP - reduce wastage & improve stock accuracy within benchmarks o NP - reduce controllable expenses in line with budgets Interpret Income Statement information and formulate and implement action plans o Identify challenges, trends and opportunities to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Completion of all required Wellness Foundation Training + Wellness Managerial training
• Minimum 3 years Wellness retail experience (including managerial experience)
• Wellness on-the-job Store Leader training
• A genuine interest in health and wellness - brand ambassadors
• Fully computer literate
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours
• Proficiency in stock management, cost control and cost management
• Own transport essential
• Competency Assessment Achieved
• Admin qualification - a retail management diploma or degree would be advantageous
• Minimum 5 years retail experience - sales, merchandising and admin experience (including 2-3 years managerial experience)
• A genuine interest in health and wellness - brand ambassadors
