Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited in Kathu, Northern Cape invites applications for a Store Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in running daily store operations and achieving targets. The role focuses on stock control, employee management, customer service, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Grade 12, at least 5 years retail/FMCG experience with 2 years in Unisolv/SAP/Qlikview and 3 years supervisory exposure, plus Kronos familiarity.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Minimum 5 years Retail/FMCG experience with breadth across departments.
• Supervisor experience of at least 3 years.
• 2 years’ experience in Unisolv / SAP / Qlikview and Kronos is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with the complete operation of the store.
• Manage day-to-day HR administration including leave, hours of work and scheduling.
• Maintain inventory levels and stock flow to floor; conduct stock takes.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information.
• Address customer requests and complaints timeously and maintain merchandising standards.
• Ensure labeling, pricing and layout standards are adhered to by merchandisers.
