Job summary

Essential Health Pharmacy Group is recruiting for a Stock File | Creditors Clerk to join our ordering team. This position is based at our Head Office in Brackenfell.

The role centers on processing credit returns, reconciling statements, handling creditor inquiries, and supporting the Finance Department in day-to-day duties.

Qualifications

• A National Diploma in accounting or similar is required.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Creditors experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process credit returns from branches.
• Attend to enquiries regarding credits, credit notes, and invoices from branches.
• Reconcile branches with statements for the Finance Department.
• Attend to enquiries regarding accounts or payments for branches.
• Resolve recon items and investigations, and handle related issues.
• Assist others in the department with orders and ad hoc duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process credit returns from branches;
• Attend to the enquiries regarding credits, credit notes, and invoices from the branches;
• Reconciliation of branches with statements for the Finance Department;
• Attend to the enquiries regarding accounts or payments for the branches;
• Resolution of the recon items, including the investigations thereof and any other issues that may arise;
• Assist others in the department if needed with orders and other ad hoc duties.

• Computer skills, intermediate to advanced excel
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Preferred

• Experience within a retail business environment
