Job summary

South African Airways is seeking a Plumber to install, maintain, inspect, repair and troubleshoot plumbing systems across SAA facilities, ensuring reliable water supply, sanitation services, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted operations.

Key responsibilities include executing PPM schedules, inspecting systems, attending to breakdowns, repairing bursts, restoring services, monitoring water use, and addressing water losses.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 4.
• Trade Test Certificate: Plumber essential
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training
• National Certificate in Plumbing
• Backflow Prevention Certification advantageous
• Legionella Awareness Training advantageous
• First Aid Certification advantageous
• Working at Heights Certification
• Confined Space Entry Certification advantageous
• 2 - 3 years post-trade plumbing experience
• Experience in commercial, industrial, airport, or large facilities environments

Responsibilities
