Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Plumber to carry out day-to-day maintenance across commercial and industrial properties in Cape Town and support tenants with plumbing-related issues.

The role requires Matric and an N1-N3 plumbing qualification, at least two years of experience, and strong fault-finding, communication and customer service skills. You will perform leak detection, maintenance of water systems and assist with installations.

Qualifications

• Matric and an N1-N3 plumbing qualification.
• At least two years' experience as a plumber.
• Experience in leak detection, drainage maintenance and pipe-joining methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault-finding.
• Maintain and repair water supply, drainage, sanitary and hot-water systems.
• Detect and repair leaks, and respond to emergency plumbing issues.
• Assist with tenant installations and minor plumbing projects.
• Inspect and maintain booster pumps, circulation pumps, float valves and water-storage systems.
• Support water-saving initiatives and maintain plumbing asset registers.
• Record completed work, manage stock and coordinate with contractors where required.
• Follow safe working practices and applicable plumbing requirements.

Our client is an established South African property company specialising in the development, leasing and management of commercial and industrial properties. They are seeking a Plumber to carry out day-to-day maintenance across their buildings and support tenants with plumbing-related issues.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault-finding.
