Job summary

Zohorecruit in Montagu, South Africa, seeks a SQL / Qlik Cloud Specialist to design ETL pipelines and dashboards. You will build data models, develop reports, and deliver insights for business users, reporting to the BI Manager. The role requires 5–8 years of BI/ETL experience and strong SQL and Qlik Cloud skills.

Based at our Montague Gardens/Cape Town office, you will contribute to advanced analytics and proactive insights, with occasional long hours and time-off-in-lieu as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or equivalent.
• 5–8 years IT experience including T-SQL and SQL Server.
• 4–6 years hands-on Qlik Sense/Cloud (SaaS) with dashboard development and data modelling.
• Experience with ETL, data warehousing and analytics.
• Knowledge of Qlik NPrinting or Qlik Application Automation.
• Azure or cloud platform knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain SQL apps, ETL processes, databases and reports.
• Develop and maintain Qlik Cloud dashboards and self-service analytics for stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis with relational and multidimensional queries.
• Support BI apps with accurate, timely data.
• Analyze BI data sources and manage data sources.
• Perform root-cause analyses and fix bugs.
• Respond to business data requests and reporting needs.
• Assist with requirements gathering and technical documentation for new requirements.
