Placements24 is seeking a skilled Sports Facilities Technician to maintain and ensure the optimal condition of Mahikeng's sports venues and equipment. This hands-on role delivers safe, functional facilities for athletes and the community, with emphasis on preventative upkeep and reliable repairs.

You will perform routine maintenance across sports grounds and indoor spaces, manage groundskeeping gear, and support event setups while complying with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a sports or recreational setting.
• Skilled in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Knowledge of groundskeeping equipment and maintenance procedures is a plus.
• Ability to operate safely and effectively with various tools and machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor as required.
