About the Role

Our client requires a diligent and skilled Sports Facilities Technician to maintain their athletic grounds and facilities in Soweto . This hands-on role is essential for ensuring that all sports venues are safe, well-maintained, and ready for use by athletes and the community. You will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of sports fields, courts, and related infrastructure. This is a vital role supporting local sports and ensuring a high-quality experience for all users.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and groundskeeping duties for sports fields, including mowing, aeration, and fertilization.
• Conduct routine inspections of sports facilities, identifying and addressing any safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Carry out minor repairs and upkeep of sports equipment, fencing, and other infrastructure.
