Placements24 is seeking a Sports Facilities Maintenance Supervisor in Bloemfontein to oversee the upkeep of outdoor and indoor venues. You will lead a team of groundskeepers, technicians, and cleaners, developing preventative maintenance plans and ensuring safety and quality across all facilities.

The role requires a minimum of 4 years in facility maintenance with sports grounds experience, along with strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience in facility maintenance, preferably in sports grounds or recreational facilities.
• Experience supervising and leading a maintenance team.
• Knowledge of groundskeeping, turf management and sports surface maintenance.
• Understanding of building systems, plumbing, electrical and HVAC is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in facility management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Our client, a leading provider of sports and recreational facilities, is looking for a diligent and experienced Sports Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to manage the upkeep and operational readiness of their venues in Bloemfontein, Free State. This critical role ensures that all facilities, including fields, courts, and indoor spaces, are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
