You will perform a variety of tasks, from routine upkeep to more complex repairs, ensuring a positive experience for all users. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with groundskeeping or facility maintenance, and a commitment to quality workmanship. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sports fields, courts, and surrounding areas.
• Inspect facilities regularly for safety hazards and ensure prompt corrective action.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and tractors.
• Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, and report needs for replenishment.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all sports facilities, including locker rooms and restrooms.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs in a timely manner.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of facilities for events and practices.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facility maintenance, groundskeeping, or a related trade.
• Skilled in the operation and maintenance of groundskeeping and maintenance equipment.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
