UNIT X, a Cape Town-based creative agency, production company and entertainment business, is seeking a commercially minded sponsorship and partnerships specialist. You will identify, develop and secure brand relationships and commercial deals for our developing portfolio.

This role is not entry-level and requires experience in originating, developing or closing sponsorships. The initial 90-day engagement is commission-based, with terms set in writing before start and with potential for continued

Qualifications

• Experience in sponsorship sales or commercial partnerships.
• Ability to originate, develop or close commercial deals.
• Strong relationships within brands, agencies, entertainment, events, music, media or creator marketing.

Responsabilités

• Identify and approach relevant brands, agencies and potential commercial partners.
• Leverage relationships to reach marketing, sponsorship and brand decision-makers.
• Assess commercial fit between partners and UNIT X projects.
• Help develop sponsorship propositions, partnership packages and brand activation concepts.
• Arrange meetings, qualify opportunities and support commercial negotiations.
• Progress opportunities towards signed agreements and revenue.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospects, conversations, proposals and negotiations.
• Advise on sponsor expectations, deal structures and barriers.
• Identify opportunities for repeat partnerships and longer-term relationships.
