Job summary

Simera Sense seeks a meticulous Electronic Hardware Engineer to design, develop, test, and support high‑reliability hardware for earth observation and space applications. You will prototype, validate, and optimize circuits and PCBs, interfacing with sensors, RF gear, and actuators while ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s honors Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in electronic hardware design and development.
• PCB design and fabrication experience.
• Experience with satellite subsystems: actuators, sensors, RF equipment.
• Embedded systems with microcontrollers and IoT devices.
• Maintenance and monitoring of electronic systems including antennas.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams on system integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and develop electronic hardware for space applications, including PCB design.
• Create and optimize circuits for space mission requirements.
• Interface hardware with diverse sensors (multispectral, hyperspectral, thermal, radar).
• Work with software, mechanical, and systems engineers for cohesive integration.
• Integrate hardware with system components and validate performance.
