Job summary

Phoenix Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Spa Manager for a luxury hotel spa in KwaZulu-Natal. You will manage spa operations, lead a qualified team, develop treatment menus, and drive revenue through guest-centric service and retail.

The role requires a recognised spa qualification (CIDESCO, CIBTAC or ITEC) and at least five years’ spa experience, including three in management. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is essential; knowledge of Dermalogica or Terres d’Afrique is a plus.

Qualifications

• Recognised beauty or spa therapy qualification.
• Minimum 5 years spa experience with at least 3 in a management role.
• Strong leadership and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead spa operations and maintain cleanliness and presentation.
• Develop treatment menus and manage stock and staff schedules.
• Drive guest engagement and assist with revenue targets.
• Coach staff and ensure exceptional guest care.
• Coordinate wellness activities and events with hotel teams.
• Promote retail products through informed recommendations.
