Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality in Bela-Bela, Limpopo, invites a skilled Spa Therapist to join our lodge team. You will deliver massage, facials and body treatments, while recommending retail products to boost revenue and guest satisfaction.

The role is hands-on with live-in accommodation, and a commission structure applies to treatments and retail. A recognised spa therapy qualification and at least 2 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Somatology, Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy or equivalent, plus a recognised massage qualification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Spa/Beauty Therapist.
• Experience in luxury hotel, lodge, resort or destination spa advantageous; safari lodge bonus.
• ITEC, CIDESCO, CIBTAC or equivalent international qualifications advantageous.
• Comfortable with retail sales, upselling and working towards treatment/revenue targets.
• Strong hygiene, presentation and treatment-room standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a full range of spa treatments to a high standard (massage, facials, body treatments, manicures/pedicures).
• Conduct guest consultations and provide aftercare advice.
• Prepare, maintain and reset treatment rooms per spa protocols.
• Promote treatments, packages and retail products to support spa revenue targets.
• Maintain stock awareness, report shortages, assist with stock counts.
• Uphold hygiene, health and safety standards throughout the spa.
• Support Spa Manager and fellow therapists with bookings and daily operations.
• Maintain professional presentation and guest confidentiality.

Job description

The successful candidate will deliver a full range of professional treatments to lodge guests while playing an active role in the spa's retail and revenue performance. This is a hands-on role suited to a therapist who is as comfortable behind the treatment table as they are recommending products and building repeat business.

Core Criteria:

• Recognised qualification in Somatology, Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy or equivalent, plus a recognised massage qualification
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Spa/Beauty Therapist preferred
• Experience within a luxury hotel, lodge, resort or destination spa advantageous; safari lodge experience a bonus

• Warm, professional, and confident guest-facing manner

On Offer:

• Salary: R7,500 - R9,000 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience
• Treatment and retail commission structure
