Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality is seeking a revenue-focused spa professional to drive treatment sales, retail performance and therapist productivity while stepping in to treat guests when needed. You will work with lodge management to weave the spa into the guest journey, ensuring luxury standards and seamless service.

The role requires a nationally recognised Somatology/Beauty Therapy qualification with massage therapy credentials, 5+ years in spa, and at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognised qualification in Somatology or Beauty Therapy
• Massage therapy qualification essential
• Minimum 5 years in the spa/wellness industry
• Minimum 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity
• Experience in luxury hotel/lodge/destination spa preferred
• Proven track record managing a team and delivering revenue targets
• Experience with stock control, ordering and spa booking/POS systems
• Strong retail sales and upselling ability
• First Aid qualification advantageous and valid driver’s license advantageous
• Commercially minded, financially aware and highly organised
• Comfortable in a remote lodge setting with weekend/public holiday flexibility

Responsibilities

• Manage the spa's daily operations to luxury standards
• Oversee bookings, therapist scheduling and treatment allocation
• Own monthly revenue targets across treatments and retail
• Design promotions, packages and campaigns to build occupancy
• Recruit, train, schedule and manage the therapy team
• Maintain stock control, ordering and cash-up within budget
• Develop and uphold spa SOPs, run audits and product training
• Partner with lodge management to integrate the spa into the guest experience
• Lead by example and stay hands-on with treatments when needed

The ideal candidate is a revenue-focused spa professional who thrives on driving treatment sales, retail performance and therapist productivity, while remaining willing to step into treatments themselves when needed. You'll work closely with lodge management to weave the spa seamlessly into the wider guest journey.

Core Criteria:

• Nationally recognised qualification in Somatology, Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy or equivalent (minimum 2-year qualification preferred); ITEC, CIDESCO or CIBTAC advantageous
• Massage therapy qualification essential
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the spa/wellness industry
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a management or supervisory capacity
• Experience within a luxury hotel, lodge, resort or destination spa strongly preferred; safari lodge exposure advantageous
• Proven track record managing a team and delivering against revenue targets
• Experience with stock control, ordering and spa booking/POS systems
• Strong retail sales and upselling ability

• Commercially minded, financially aware, highly organised and a confident leader

• Take ownership of monthly revenue targets across treatments and retail, tracking performance closely
• Design promotions, packages and seasonal campaigns to build occupancy
• Recruit, train, schedule and manage the performance of the therapy team
• Maintain accurate stock control, ordering and cash-up procedures within budget
• Develop and uphold spa SOPs, run treatment audits and ongoing product training
• Partner with lodge management to integrate the spa into the broader guest experience
• Lead by example, staying hands-on with treatments when operationally required
