Job summary

Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, part of NHS Grampian, is advertising two Pharmacy Assistant posts. One is full-time (36 hours) and the other is part-time (16.5 hours; pattern to be discussed at interview). The roles involve supporting the Pharmacy Department with pharmaceutical supplies and patient care.

Band 2 salary range is £26,696–£28,988. Weekend/Public Holiday work is on a rota basis. Successful applicants will work under technician supervision and be expected to achieve Pharmacy Services Level

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Services Level 2 will be required.

Staff are required to provide pharmaceutical supplies from the pharmacy department at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to a variety of destinations throughout NHS Grampian. For more details see Job Description which contains details of all sections.

Applicants should be conscientious, reliable and have an interest in healthcare services and be physically fit. The successful applicant will work under technician supervision. Pharmacy Services Level 2 will be required to be attained

Weekend /Public Holiday working will be required on a rota basis.
