Placements24 seeks a dedicated Social Inclusion Officer to join our Soweto team. You will promote well-being and integration for vulnerable groups, identifying barriers and connecting individuals with essential resources and services.

The role requires a solid understanding of social justice, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and with partners to drive inclusive initiatives in Soweto.

Formación

• Relevant qualification in Social Work, Community Development, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in social work, community development, or advocacy roles.
• Understanding of social exclusion and inclusion principles.
• Knowledge of Soweto community and social services landscape.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and address social exclusion issues within the Soweto community.
• Develop and implement programs promoting social inclusion and equity.
• Conduct needs assessments and outreach to engage target populations.
• Connect individuals and families with social services, employment, and education.
• Build partnerships with local organizations and service providers.
• Provide support and advocacy for individuals facing social barriers.
• Facilitate workshops and awareness campaigns on inclusion topics.
• Monitor progress and impact of inclusion initiatives.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on activities and outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams for integrated service delivery.
