Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative and meticulous Event Planner to join our team in Soweto and surrounding Gauteng regions. You’ll coordinate and execute diverse events from initial client brief to post-event follow-up, overseeing budgeting, vendor management, timelines and on-site delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in event planning, superb organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning or coordination.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to conceptualize and plan events that align with their vision and budget.

• Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring smooth operations.
• Manage event budgets, track expenses, and process payments.
