Job summary

MPRTC Recruitment is seeking a seasoned procurement professional in South Africa to drive strategic sourcing and supplier management. The role requires a matric and a Bachelor's degree in Procurement, SCM, or Business Administration, with at least 5 years' procurement experience in a corporate or group setting.

You will work with cross-functional teams, oversee tender processes and contract negotiations, ensure governance and compliance, and leverage SAP to optimize procurement activities.

Qualifications

• Matric and Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' procurement experience, preferably in a corporate or group environment.
• Experience with procurement systems such as SAP.
• Knowledge of tender management, contract negotiations and supplier performance management.
• Understanding of procurement compliance and governance.
• Professional certification such as CIPS or CIPSM advantageous.
• Valid Code 8 driver's licence.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
