Job summary

The Foschini Group is seeking an Engineering Lead to guide our IT division in delivering scalable, secure platforms. You will mentor engineers, shape the technical roadmap, and collaborate with product teams to translate business needs into architecture and execution.

You will lead delivery of complex projects, drive innovation, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across engineering and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Proven software development and leadership experience delivering complex projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire teams.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers
• Define and execute the technical roadmap
• Drive design, development, and optimization of platforms
• Provide technical guidance to ensure on-time delivery within budget
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies
• Partner with Product to translate requirements into solutions
