Job summary

Ad Talent is partnering with an established organisation in Gauteng to recruit an experienced Software Development Team Lead. You will mentor a team of developers while staying hands-on to guide architecture and delivery.

You will oversee .NET/C#, REST APIs and SQL Server, plan sprints in Azure DevOps, enforce coding standards, coordinate releases, and collaborate with architects and stakeholders to drive improvements and responsible AI tool adoption.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, IT or related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in team leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET/C#, REST APIs, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Agile/Scrum and PR workflows.
• People management, coaching and performance development.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and clean architecture.

What will you do

What will you need

A degree in computer science, IT or a related field. At least 7 years of software development experience, including 2 years in a team leadership role. Strong hands-on experience with .NET (C#), REST APIs and Microsoft SQL Server. Experience with Azure DevOps, Agile/Scrum and pull-request workflows. Experience in people management, coaching and performance development. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and clean architecture.

Vue 3, TypeScript, logistics systems and third-party integrations would be advantageous.
