Placements24 is seeking an experienced Social Program Manager to oversee and expand community initiatives in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. The role requires strong leadership, program development, and stakeholder engagement to improve lives and foster sustainable development.

You will manage a portfolio of programs, mentor staff and volunteers, and build partnerships with government, NGOs and community groups to maximise impact in Mossel Bay.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Community Development or a related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in social program management with a track record of delivery.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience supervising staff and volunteers in community settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution and delivery of social programs in Mossel Bay, ensuring goals are met.
• Develop strategies with clear objectives, timelines and KPIs.
• Manage program budgets with resource allocation and accountability.
