Hollywoodbets, based in Durban, is seeking a Social Media Team Lead to drive growth across platforms from the Durban/Umhlanga base. The role focuses on leading the social team, coordinating campaigns, and ensuring timely content delivery aligned with brand guidelines.

You will manage analytics, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration to grow audience engagement, optimise performance, and protect brand reputation within a dynamic betting industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in social media, digital marketing, community management or content.
• Experience coordinating work or supervising team members is preferred.
• Copywriting, content review, social publishing, analytics and reporting experience are needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support assigned Social Media team members, providing day-to-day direction and feedback.
• Allocate work and manage delivery across platforms, campaigns and daily tasks.
• Set team goals aligned with business objectives and monitor service quality and turnaround.
• Conduct regular check-ins and support on-the-job development.
• Escalate high-risk or reputational issues to the manager.
• Oversee content creation, reviews and publishing ensuring brand consistency.
• Coordinate social media campaigns, promotions and influencer-driven initiatives.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly performance reports covering engagement and growth.
