Placements24 is seeking a Social Media Community Manager to join our fully remote team serving the Benoni region. You will build and nurture online communities, drive engagement, and manage conversations across platforms in a consistent, on-brand manner.

Responsibilities include responding to comments, monitoring sentiment, identifying advocates, partnering with content creators, and reporting on growth metrics to the marketing team.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Actively engage with our online community across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and on-brand manner.

• Monitor social media conversations for customer feedback, sentiment, and potential issues, escalating as needed and providing solutions.
• Identify and engage with relevant online communities, influencers, and brand advocates.
• Track community growth, engagement metrics, and sentiment, providing regular reports to the marketing team.
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure community feedback informs content strategy and development.
